Embedding guide

Your flipbook, in Wix.

Keep your existing website and add the portfolio you already designed. Portfolia embedding is included on Free and Personal; your website provider may apply its own limits.

Set it up

1. Publish your Portfolia portfolio and open Embed in its sharing controls.
2. In Wix Editor, open Add Elements, choose Embed Code, then Embed HTML. Paste the complete iframe code into the code option.
3. If you choose Embed a Site instead, use the HTTPS address from the iframe’s src attribute, ending in /embed/your-code, rather than pasting HTML into the address field.
4. Resize the Wix embed container as well as the iframe. Check the mobile editor separately, publish, then test the real page.

Check before you share

• Open the published website while signed out. A draft portfolio is not available to visitors.
• Try a phone and desktop. Confirm the controls fit and the surrounding website can still scroll.
• Turn a page and test your chosen Simple or Studio appearance. The embed follows the portfolio’s saved settings.
• Replacing your PDF updates the same embed address. Unpublishing or link expiry closes access. Password protection also applies inside the embed.

If it looks blank or cropped

First open the embed URL directly in a new tab. If it loads there, check the website block’s height, HTML settings and plan allowance. If the direct URL is unavailable, check that the portfolio is published and its access settings allow viewing. Browsers that block third-party cookies can require protected portfolios to open in a new tab.
